What is Gentle Baker about?
It's about Ashley's epic journey that made him a hero. I used the hero monomyth that was done up by Joseph Campbell which my sister emailed to me. The main point of this site is to see how Ashley stacks up in the monomyth, not exactly to prove if he is an epic hero or not. He's mostly a dweeby hero.
Why "Gentle Baker" and Ashley Winchester?
I picked the name Gentle Baker because Ashley is one and it seemed a lot better and less misleading than Booty Call (which is one of his tools, it's used to find treasure). Gentle Baker is what his cameo apperance in Wild ARMS 5 is called and he works in Twelbeit at the Irington Baker. Much like at the end of 2nd Ignition except it's in Meria Boule. There were a lot of other names I could have picked as well, I just liked this one the best.
I picked Ashely because he is kind of a dweeb. I was talking to Snow about the heroic monomyth and we were shooting ideas back and forth. I said "Ash from Wild ARMS." And she was like "Do it!" So that's why. Not an epic reason.
And Wild ARMS 2nd Ignition?
It's a video game for the play station but was relased on the PSN. It came out years ago, it's a steampunk western style game. The movie scenes are animated instead of CG. I picked this game and it's lead because it was the first Wild ARMS game I played and beat myself. The others where all with my sister. I adore Rudy from Wild ARMS Alter Code but I'm more familiar with Ashley.
