Getting Vincent

Once you reach Nibelheim for the first time you can go to the mansion and recruit Vincent. It is fairly simple to get this man to join you. Once you raided the town and mansion of all the boxes go to the first floor of the mansion on the lower left side and there is a yellow thing. It says you do not have to participate but to get Vincent it is a good choice to do so. Great now you get to run around the mansion all over again. (Yay!) Or you can skip that and go straight to the safe of the second floor and enter the code: right 36, left 10, right 59, and right 97. Be careful not to go passed the numbers or you will have to do it again.

Boss battle with Missing/Lost Number!

After you beat him you will get the key to the basement, limit level 4 Cosmo Memory and summon materia Odin. (Yay!) Now off to the basement. Stay on the second floor and go to the lower right room, remember the room you had to go to in Cloud’s flashbacks in Kalm? Now go down the groovy staircase and to the door. Oh no, coffins! Click the middle one. A man will pop out, that’s Vincent Valentine. Talk to him, tell him your story. He’ll get upset and close the coffin. Click it again. He’ll tell you who he is. Now leave. He will follow.

You now have Vincent. See that wasn’t so hard.
