elite four?My sister, Snow, and I were talking because I mentioned I wanted to do a pokemon section for Lulu like we did for the #GenkiJusticeParty. She helped me pick pokemon so I could do this. Most where actually picked by her and for good reason too. I was originally going to go with dual type with psychic to fill the elemental magic and them way she moves her dolls in battle but these choices are much better. Sprites are from Pokemon Database.
Lulu's Pokemon
Banette, ghost type. A discarded doll filled with the hatred of the child that abandoned it. It represent Lulu relationship with Lady Ginnem. Lady Ginnem does have some resentment for Lulu as Lulu was not able to protect her and Ginnem was killed. Lulu is also haunted by the memory of Lady Ginnem for that same reason. Lulu also uses dolls in battle. So Banette is a prefect choice for Lulu.
Froslass, ice/ghost type. She was decided upon due to the connection Lulu has with Shiva. Shiva is an ice type summon who is a fayth. Froslass is a ghost/ice type. A Froslass is also considered as a Yukionna, they steal men's souls. So Froslass representing Shiva here works. Both are deadly beauties.
Butterfree, bug/flying type. Butterflies are often associated with hope and death. Lulu is circled by death in her life, Lady Ginnem, her family, Chappu and almost Yuna. There is the hope of a good future with her new family Wakka and Vidina. I feel Butterfree was a good choice is representing this aspect of her life.
Teddiursa, normal type. Teddy Bears double as knights to protect children. Teddiursa would be there to help protect Vidina at night when Lulu is sleeping. It probably helped protect Yuna when she was little too. Teddiursa is an inmportant part of the team, the child protector.
Jellicent, water/ghost type. It's a male Jellicent representing the island she lives on as well as Wakka and Chappu. It's a water/ghost type, they are surround by water, Wakka and Chappu both played Blitzball (an underwater sport) and Chappu unfortunately passed away.
Chansey, normal type. Because Lulu is secretly caring. Chansey also carries around an egg, while its not a baby egg like Lulu had, it's still very nurturing. Much like Lulu. It's a very mom type of pokemon, filling the spot of Lulu's maternal instincts.
