⚜ Basic: Voice Actress

Japanese and English

I've heard Lulu in (a little bit) Japanese and English. So I will only be discussing thouse. Rio Natsuki and Paula Tiso. And I'm not really sure if she was given different voices for other regions as I only play games in English (North American releases). So I apologize if you feel this page lacks some. Though if you've heard Lulu in another language, I wouldn't mind if you wanted to write a paragaph about her voice and send it in.

Rio Natsuki

Rio Natsuki is the Japanese voice for Lulu. I'm not used to it at all! She sounds softer and younger than Lulu appears. At least that's how I view it. It's not bad at all. I'm just used to Lulu in English. She doesn't seem to make Lulu seem sad. I feel there is a little more emotion in the voice. I'm not sure if that's because Miss Natsuki has been doing voice more or just has an emotional voice. I like it but again, I'm not used to it. I haven't heard a lot of her because I've only heard parts of Lulu in Japanese. There is also a FF Vocal Collection in which Miss Natsuki does some singing along with the rest of the cast. Miss Natsuki is also the voice for Bahamut's Fayth and Lucrecia Cresent in Dirge of Cerberus.

Paula Tiso

Paula Tiso is Lulu's English voice actress for the North Amercian release. This is the voice I'm so used to hearing with Lulu. For me, this is Lulu's voice. There is no other. Miss Tiso has stated that Lulu was hard for her to do because she generally gets the bubbly commercial girls. I think she did a wonderful job for her first big role. Lulu sounds sad or void of most emotion but I think that's just the way her character is. So the voice fits. The emotional range lacks a little but other than that, it's wonderful. Though I may be bias because this has been Lulu's voice for so long for me. I like it. Miss Tiso also voice Jihl Nabaat in Final Fantasy XIII.
